THE CHARITY NIGHT - we did it!!!! By mummy

I feel very proud. A couple of months back I wanted to do a joint Ann Summers and spray tan party with Keri Bailey but thought it would be pretty cool to donate the 10% from Ann Summers to charity. We spoke about it and the idea seemed to get bigger and bigger. It went from being held at one of our houses to renting out the village hall. And from just inviting facebook friends to being advertised in the local newspaper. I must say most of which was down to Keri, she amazed us both with her new found forte! She says she cant organise her own life yet she managed to turn something small into somthing big.

Saturday was a busy day. We started setting up at 11am, with tables and chairs, baloons and banners, table clothes and bunting. The room looked fab!! We had lots of people arriving to set up their stalls and before we knew it, it was 6pm and people were starting to arrive! 115 people later and we did our thank yous and drew the raffle. I am so pleased to announce that we counted £363, and with the cancer research table earning £64, we totalled £427, plus a few 10%'s that we didnt collect we probably raised about £440. I am so proud of Keri Bailey for discovering one of her forte's in life!!! Hopefully we will do another one in a few weeks running up to christmas!
