Thur 22nd March 2012 - new plans

After mummy found out we couldn't go see uncle lee lee she said we could go to the park as it was a nice day.

I seen a "car" mummy tells me its a scooter but anything with wheels is still a car to me!

I loved the park especially when some of my friends arrived, and then we went to the pub for lunch!

When we got home I played on the street in my ferrari :-)

And helped mummy do some gardening.

Later on mummy was a bit cross because she got called into work at the pub again!!



The much needed wind down - by mummy

Completely exhausted from working atleast 20 hours in 2 days and being a single mum I sat down after work, it was about 1.30/2am and the big boss walked in and insisted every 1 go to the local night club for a few drinks. So I did, and very quickly realised this was just what I needed, despite being tired, i needed the social life away from parenting and had quite a good night, though I knew I'd regret it the following morning when I left the pub at 4.30am!

My first single Valentines day in alot of years!! - by Mummy

February the 14th February 2012 was very much a normal day for me. After getting with Graham around this time back in 2007, and being with my child hood sweetheart, Rory for the 2 valentines before that it had been a long time since I was single. So part of me dreaded it but the other part wasn't very fussed at all, I was enjoying being single.

However, I had been texting this guy, Chris, I work with him at the Kings head and had spoken to him about being unhappy with Graham, he was supportive as he had not long come out of a long term relationship himself, but we had a laugh together... I had been at work for about half an hour before turning around and there he was, stood smiling. It was a nice surprise as I was starting to like him, despite trying desperately not to! lol! So my first single valentines day was a good one :-)

First taster of freedom - by mummy.

So, on Friday once Graham had taken Blake I knew I'd feel lost so I got myself sorted and headed straight to the pub for a few drinks before I started work. It was my best friend, Maria's, birthday on the Thursday.

On the Saturday I went to meet Maria again for lunch, she was with a few friends who decided to have a drunken half hour, this was rather fun considering I stayed sober!

Saturday night I went out. It was my friend, Kelly's 30th and she had a hollywood themed birthday party.

I only stayed for a short time as I was heading out for my other friend, Phoebe's, birthday who was at a party with a stripper!!!

Despite it by now snowing very heavily we headed into town. I will admit I was feeling good about myself despite my ginger hair. I loved the feeling of being single and even had a drunken dance on the pole :-S

On Sunday morning I was so happy it had snowed but at the same time I was gutted I was missing Blake's first experience in the snow! However I decided to take a walk into town to pick up my car, When I got to the bottom of my road I found some friends pratting around :-)

We went up burrough hill sledging, Ive never done it properly before and I was completely rubbish!!

When we got back to my friends house somebody had played a prank on them, I found this hilarious, but then who wouldn't!!!!?!?

The start of my new life - by Blake

Monday morning didn't feel very different, I got up and went to Nanny's and mummy went to work. I had a nice day.

I came home and had dinner, daddy still didnt come home.

I went to sit on the toilet before bath time and did a very little poo! Mummy was so excited!!

On Tuesday I went to Nursery as normal. I came home. Daddy still didn't. But I got to talk to him on the phone.



Mummy ran playgroup - by Blake

On Wednesday morning I helped myself to some biscuits while mummy got ready. I danced to the radio whilst I ate them.

Mummy was opening playgroup so she got the big tunnel out.

I found some Thomas trains and showed them to mummy but she was too busy to play with me.

When every body had gone mummy tidyed up and I had the whole room to run around by myself!

When we got home I played with my cars.

And read my Thomas book. I like Thomas.



My advent calendar - by Blake

On the 1st of December I got to open the 1st door on my advent calendar.

Mummy re-introduced my potty but while I was fully clothed. I used it as a chair to watch tv and eat my snack.

I wasn't feeling 100% so I snuggled on the sofa with Winnie the Pooh.

Later on mummy went to work and my Auntie Leonie looked after me. I tried calling daddy.

Eating daddy's dinner - by Blake

One Monday after I came home from Nanny's I had dinner with just mummy as daddy was late. This did not stop me from trying to steal daddy's when he did get home...!



So sorry - by mummy!!!

Have had an extremely hectic lifestyle as well as being ill this week and genuinely exhausted... However I have now left the chipshop so just working at pub and school, with xmas around the corner we are extrememly busy so have lots to tell you, so please bare with us, we'll update as and when we can!! We promise it'll be worth the wait!! :-P

My first fat lip - by Blake

On Thursday my lip had swollen quite bad, I had a cut on the inside and the outside, it didnt bother me though because I am so brave.

Mummy spent alot of the day doing house work so I got to play with my toys. I love my megablocks.

I did lots of rolling about too.

I went to Nanny's for dinner while mummy went to work, she is leaving th chipshop soon, I cant wait to see her more!



Playgroup without mummy - by Blake

On Wednesday me and mummy had a lazy morning as she didn't get in from work until late. At 11 Keri came to pick me up and I went in the car next to Rhys then I went in a double buggie, I loved sitting next to Rhys on our way to playgroup. Mummy came to playgroup for a little while but then had to go to work. She was taking her students to a christmas display.

We did some children in need colouring.

After mummy left I fell and banged my lip, Keri and Fiona were very worried as it bled lots. I was very brave though and only cried for a minute then carried on playing. After playgroup I went to Rhys's house to play and then Keri took me home. I saw mummy for half an hour and then Auntie Jade came round because mummy had to work at the chipshop. Daddy came home and we had dinner together before bed time.

Tuesday 15th Nov - by Blake

On Tuesday I had to go to Nursery as usual! Mummy was a little worried as there was a disease called Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease going round but I went any way.

When I got home I was a bit grumpy, I have started lying on the floor in a strop, but then I stay there when I get what I want any way!

Some times I make mummy sit on the floor with me whilst dinner is cooking, I tend to shove my face inbetween people's legs, I have even done it to a stranger before, mummy was embarassed!

When daddy got home we had dinner and a bath then watched The Simpsons.

Daddy said I was sitting so close so pulled me away a little, but mummy said we were still too close!

Mummy went to work when we had gone to bed.

Dancing Thursdays - by Blake

On Thursday mummy had lots of house work to do. As per usual I helped out by making sure she has lots to do!

Once upstairs was cleaned we went downstairs and mummy put the music on loud. I stood on the coffee table and held mummy's hands so we could dance together!

Then I danced by myself!

I like to crawl in and through things, though sometimes I think I am much smaller than I am!

I have a box full of little books in it, it is my favourite thing at the minute.


Later on I went to Nanny's for tea again, Daddy picked me up after the gym.
