A daddy Friday - by Blake

Friday was a good Friday! Daddy had the day off work and when I woke up he came to get me! I was very excited! Mummy stayed in bed for a little while and we and we had a lazy morning.

I played with all my toys and was having lots of fun, I wasn't too impressed after daddy called me a naughty word though!!!

I was so happy daddy was with us I cuddled him lots!

I also cuddled my cat lots too, he is starting to let me cuddle him more and doesn't run off though I am still a little bit too rough with him!

After lunch we went for a walk into town, daddy picked up some big knickers and told mummy she needed them... mummy was not impressed!

Then I got a smart new hair cut and so did daddy, I went sleep after mine though.



A lazy weekend - by Blake

Last weekend was a good weekend. I had both mummy and daddy all weekend!

On the Saturday we all got up and Daddy came with us to great Nanny's for a fry-up.
When we got home I played on Call of Duty with Daddy.

We had a really chilled day. I played peekaboo while I waited for mummy to run my bath.

On Sunday morning I helped daddy wash the car, I also kept running down the road!!!

A little later on I played with my trains.

After dinner we all got in bed together to watch tv.



A family walk - by Blake

On Saturday morning mummy and I went to great Nanny's for breakfast. When we got home daddy had finished work so we went into town and met nanny and pappy. We went to cafe nero for a drink.

It was market day so very busy, I got to walk holding mummy and daddy's hands.  

I enjoyed spending time as a family, but it didnt last long because mummy had to go to work. After my bath I went to a house party with daddy but I was too tired to stay out for long.



A new baby!!! - By mummy

I had my friends little girl on Wednesday night, she was an absolute super star and I really enjoyed looking after her. Once we were all dressed and ready to go out on Thursday morning we walked to the local library for Wriggley readers.

 After a lovely visit to the library I left Naima with her Uncle and we went to see my friend Kylie, she is a very interesting person to say the least, very loud and outgoing and I think every 1 in the world likes her. We had a big chat and if I could write it all it would be an excellent read but I'm not going to.

The weather on Thursday was freezing! It had dropped down to 13 degrees celsius, yet last Thursday was 28!

On the way home from town I spotted a friend of mine, he was in a new car so I simply text him saying 'Nice car... makes you look fit :-P' I was very shocked when I read my reply. Something about a 2 week old baby and had I heard the news?? After 6 billion questions he told me to come and meet the baby...

As it turns out, Karl, my friend, is now a daddy. Joshua was born exactly a year after Blake on 21/09/11. Karl wasn't aware he was going to be a daddy but I know he is going to make an amazing daddy and will do well by his new family. Amy is a very lucky girl to have such a wonderful man. I am honoured to have grown up with Karl and I'm very excited for the years they have ahead of them!
