Sunset in the park - by Blake

Monday's are Nanny days. I spent the day with Nanny while mummy was at work.

Mummy picked me up and we went home and had dinner.

Daddy suggested we go to the park which was a great idea because it's not very often I get to spend time with mummy AND daddy, usually its one or the other :-(

The nights are drawing in now so the sun was setting whilst I played.

I got stuck going down the slide, mummy said some selfish scroats had poured something sticky down it!

Daddy and I searched for conkers. Daddy wants them to keep the spiders out of the house.

Soon it was getting dark so we walked home, I didnt want to get in my push chair!



Summer BBQ - by Blake

On Sunday morning we went swimming, mummy didnt take any pictures, when we got home daddy and I cleaned the car for the car show.

Afterwards we went to Pat's for a BBQ, they have a very beautiful garden!

It was a hot day again and every 1 was sunbathing.

Uncle Alan and I were throwing things in the pool...

I helped myself to every bodies drinks!! This made every body laugh!

A little boy that was there sprayed every 1 with a hose pipe which made every 1 jump up!

Daddy left to go to the car show, I wanted to go so followed him out shouting 'dadda'!

I sat on the swinging benches with every one.

A walk down the road - by Blake

On Saturday morning daddy was at work again. I sat on the potty for the first time! I got off immediately though and ran off into my bedroom with no nappy on!

I played in the garden for a little while and crashed my car! I didnt get hurt though!

After my car crash we went to Great Nanny's for a fry up as usual!

When we got home, mummy left the front door open as were going straight back out to shopping. I took this opportunity to go for a walk down the road!

When we got home from food shopping daddy was home. Uncle Rich came round to see me, I wont see him for a while now as he is moving away to be in the police force!! I went to Nanny's again because mummy got called into work and daddy was going out with Uncle Rich.



Enjoying the last of summer - by Blake

Friday was very hot. Even though it was the end of September.

We went to the park to meet Auntie Millie and Auntie Jade.

There were some big boys there and I wanted to play football with them!

We also seen my friends Rhys and Evelyn.

Afterwards mummy went to work, I went to Nanny's because daddy was working late.

Wearing a bikini in public - by mummy

I have a new attitude. And hopefully I can stick to it. On Thursday we went to a splash park and I decided to brave the bikini. I have worn it a few times at the swimming baths but I tend to hide under my towel then sit in the water so no body can see any thing. You see alot of people have this perfect image of me, not sure why or where its come from but its far from correct as I'm actually covered in stretch marks, veins and cellulite and scars (especially my thighs and bum). However, the older I get and the more I actually look around I realise that its very common to have all of those things! Over the past months I have spent alot of time looking at old pictures of myself and wondering why I didn't love what I had. Then the more I looked, the more I realised I wasn't that far off it now any way, yes my stretch marks and cellulite both doubled during/after pregnancy but I'm learning to ignore them. My stomach is as good as its gonna be without it becoming an athletic one, and i haven't got the time to work on my abs so I'm trying to be fairly proud of it. I think alot of this confidence came with my tattoo. I want to show it off so its making me accept my stomach. I also have a friend who seems to have serious weight issues and shes made me realise how ridiculous I must have sounded when all I did was moan about how fat i was. I am currently about 9 stone 3/4 (59kg) and usually an 8/10 top 10/12 bottom half. I used to try and squeeze in my 8s and 10s then realised if i wore my 12s it made me look slimmer because i didn't get the tyre belly.

If I continue with this confident attitude myself I would love to help other young mums to find their confidence again so this new exploration and learning curve should be fun for me. I'm gonna be the next Gok Wan. pmsl!!

This photo makes my legs look amazing, the sun was fairly low by this point which is why it has given me the great tan. If you look inbetween my left leg you can just see a fe bumps of uneven skin (cellulite)

Too many women hate that when they sit down their ass and thighs spread... including me which is why i have slightly lifted my leg up to try and avoid that look, not sure it worked though, lol. But its only human so here is me trying to accept it lol... and i hate that bikini's make your boobs disappear.

Twinlakes new splash park - by Blake

On Thursday we went to Twinlakes. There was lots of my friends there but I mostly played with Lauren and Rhys, we all played in cars together.

and had lunch togther.

After lunch we went down to the new splash park. It was very big and colourful!

We went down the little slides together, the water was very cold!

Once I got used to the water I was off exploring by myself!

I waited for mummy to come down the flume, it was very funny, she screamed!!

Mummy decided it was time to get out as I was cold so I got dried and dressed. Rhys had the same t shirt as me so he wore it too. Its the same as Oskars too (http://oskarsfirstblog.blogspot.com)

Before mummy had a chance to stop me I decided I wanted to go back in the water!

Eventually I was all tired out so had a nap

Afterwards I was desperate to go back in the water, it was a good job mummy bought more swim clothes!!

Mummy sunbathed with the other mummies and I went off to play by myself! Mummy's friends love how independant I am.



We had a fantastic day, mummy wants to go again at the weekend!!!

Return of summer - by Blake

I didn't really see mummy on Monday as it was Nanny day then daddy picked me up because mum had to stay at work. I saw her before bed.

On Tuesday mummy dropped me off at Nursery, daddy picked me up, I didnt get to see mummy then until Wednesday, but she tucked me in Tuesday night.

On Wednesday mummy spent alot of time tidying up, I wanted to go in the bathroom, I like chucking things in the bath.

Afterwards we went in the garden for a while, I played in my splash pit.

I lost my shoe so I left footprints when I walked off.
