New Cupcake Nursery - by Mummy.

I have decided to write about last Wednesday so I can have a little rant. For months I have been going to a playgroup at the Oasis Family Centre on a Wednesday afternoon, we have met some very special mums and babies and love it! However it closed over the summer so we found other things to do but I really was looking forwards to its re-opening. On the day before I expected to go back I got a very upsetting phone call to tell us we were no longer able to attend the group any more. She explained about funding and that our family wasn't "needy" enough to meet the new criteria. Basically because we work and don't sponge benefits we aren't entitled to jack! Fortunately we weren't the only family as most of the friends we have made also work hard so we decided to club together and start our own mother ran playgroup...

Cupcakes playgroup was born 14/09/11. We are still using Oasis' facilities but its now in the morning, I'm not too impressed that the centre is now benefiting from us being there despite chucking us out! But for now we had a fab time! :-D
